HaiTales
Our story

We make books where your child is the hero — and the story is theirs to keep.

HaiTales started with a simple wish: that every child could open a book and find themselves on the page. One photo becomes a hand-illustrated character, woven through a story written just for them.

Why we do it

A gift that gets read a hundred times.

Toys break and screens are forgotten. A book with your child’s name on the cover and their face in every scene is different — it gets pulled off the shelf at bedtime again and again, and it’s still there years later.

That’s the gift we set out to make: personal, made by hand, and built to be kept. Upload one photo, choose a story, and we turn your little one into its hero — printed, bound, and on your doorstep in about a week.

Rooted in heritage

Stories that carry where they come from.

Հայ երեխան՝ իր հեքիաթի հերոսը։

We’re an Armenian team, and we built HaiTales partly for our own kids. So many children grow up far from the language, the names, and the stories of where their family comes from. We wanted a gentle way to bring that closer — right at bedtime.

Our books are written in Armenian and English, with names that adapt grammatically as they should and tales that carry a little of our history and culture. A child sees themselves as the hero and, page by page, grows up knowing the heritage that’s theirs.

What we believe

Three things we won’t compromise on.

1

Made personal

One photo becomes a character that truly looks like your child — not a sticker, but someone woven into every page of the story.

2

Rooted in heritage

Written in Armenian and English, with real names and stories that help kids grow up close to their history and culture.

3

Built to be kept

Hardcover or softcover on thick archival paper, reviewed before it prints — made to survive bedtime for years.

A note from us

“We read every story before it prints, the way we’d want someone to handle a book meant for our own children. Nothing leaves our shop that we wouldn’t put in our kids’ hands.”
